Northern Resort Information and Policies

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation Policy: All cancellations forfeit $200.00. Any cancellations within 60 days of the date of your stay, forfeit the entire deposit. If cabin can be rented, you forfeit 25% or no less then $200.00 of your total deposit.

Check In and Out times: Our check in is at 3pm on Saturday and check out is at 9am on the following Saturday. During off season, October 1 through, but not including Memorial weekend; these times are not held to the same hours as Peak season. I will just need to be informed as to when you plan to arrive and depart. Thank you

Credit Cards: AS OF 2008, WE WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTING CREDIT CARDS AS A FORM OF PAYMENT. HOWEVER, YOU WILL ALWAYS NEED TO SUBMIT CREDIT CARD INFORMATION TO RESERVE OR CHECK IN TO OUR RESORT, PRIOR TO BEING ABLE TO ENTER A HOME.

Extra Person Charge: There is a specific number of persons allowed in a home. Rates are based on 8 people for Cabins 1-18, but we will allow up to 10 people with an additional charge per night per person and 10 people for Cabin 19, but we will allow up to 12 people in this home with the additional charge as well. This additional charge is $50.00 per/night per/person. Remember, children under the age of 2 are not included in the rate configuration.

Firewood: We supply firewood here at a nominal fee of $20 a wagon full. Wood is not free. The policy is that it is cash and carry. If you are looking for a smaller quantity, then we have a smaller wagon of wood that we supply for $10 cash and carry.

Guest Cleaning Policy: We expect all guests to keep the homes clean while they are here. These are beautiful homes and we expect them to stay that way. We want to have this resort as the #1 place for families to come to. The only way we can keep our places in the best possible condition, is to make it understood to everyone that while staying here please do your part in taking care of your home. This is one of the most important polices. Thank you

Minimum Nights Stay: There is a 2 night minimum stay for all homes unless posted on web site by individual homeowners at their discretion. These two night minimum stays are generally from October 1 to, but not including; Memorial weekend. There may be days that are available during other time frames. Just call and inquire. Thank you

Mother Nature Caused Cancellations: All persons who had reservations at another establishment and because of Mother Natures Fury, has had the misfortune of having to find another place to take their families, please let me know and I will try to work on your reservation here. If you are looking for less then a week and I can get someone else to fill in the remainder of the days, I will do what I can for you. Our check in and out days are Saturday, so you would not be able to cut into 2 different weeks, ( ie., Friday, Saturday and Sunday, leaving on Monday). We can work something out for you. I am sorry for the misfortune, but I'm here to help!

Pet Policy: No one is allowed to bring a dog, unless you get pre-approval from Brigit. There are no exceptions. There is a $100.00 non-refundable fee for a dog. There must be no sign of your dog being in that home when you depart! Dogs are not allowed on the grounds unleashed. Dogs are not to be left in the home unattended unless they are in a pen. If your dog is a barker, you may never leave the dog unattended. Dogs are never to be allowed on any of the furniture. Pick up all of your dogs messes and dispose in the dumpster provided on the grounds. These rules must be followed.

Policy 1: Everyone checking in must submit a credit card. You are also required to read & sign a brief rental agreement making you aware of the liabilites for any and all damages that occur during your stay. Cabins are to be left neat & picked up of any debris.

Policy 3: SMALL GROUP RATE INCENTIVES: We encourage small groups to come and experience our beautiful resort, so; as an incentive, we offer a special rate for groups of up to 4 people. The rates range from $140.00 to $355.00 nightly. Wow, this is your chance to experience one of the Northwoods finest resorts at a very low rate. Just call and ask for Brigit Nitschke and I will set you up with a vacation home you will not want to leave! These special rates run from October 1st, to; but not including, Memorial weekend.

Policy 4: All reservations must be accompanied by a deposit equal to half of your stay, less taxes. This deposit can be paid by submitting a check, made out to Bri'Ash LLC and you have 10 days in which to submit this check to secure your date and cabin. Thank you

Rate Increases: Please know that rates may increase at anytime during the year. You are not notified, but you do have access to the web site for that information. Taxes are not included in the rates specified per cabin.

Returned Check Policy: Any returned personal and or business checks, there will be a $50.00 fee.

Smoking: There is no smoking allowed in any of our homes. If that policy is not adhered by, then you will be charged an amount of $50/hr. to have the cabin professionaly air cleaned. Please abide by this policy. Thank you

Vacation home items NOT provided to guests!!: Your unit comes complete with everything you will need for a comfortabe stay, except for these items: Bath towels & washcloths, toilet paper, paper toweling, garbage bags, hand & dish soap. PLEASE MAKE NOTE OF THESE ITEMS NOT PROVIDED FOR YOUR STAY THANK YOU

Winter Sport Enthusiasts!: We are offering $1000/$1500 month for up to 8/10 people to spend weekends enjoying your favorite winter activities! Bring your sleds, equipment, clothes, food, etc.. up here and leave it here for the entire month. You may extend it for another month! Can you imagine a price like this for a place like this? We are on the Bearskin Trail, across from the Thirsty Whale, Wave Rental, etc.. Cross country ski trails not too far from the resort, just a beautiful place to be. So, call and see what homes we have available.

Ice: 7# bags of ice are available at office. $1.00 fee per bag!
