For over 50 years this event has been pulling in thousands of event-goers from around the world. It's terribly fun, a bit quirky and definitely beefy! Fall Color Changes - Mid September thru October
After you've enjoyed yourself at the above events, it's time to take a relaxing stroll down the Bear Skin Trail, a car ride through the forest or a boat ride on the lake for spectacular views of the leaves changing colors. It has been said, because of the vast diversity of trees, that Northern Wisconsin is the most beautiful place to view the fall color changes. With every color from golden to crimson popping against a green background, you will be blown away by the beauty of nature during this time of year. It's also a great time to take family portraits!
While it's a little chilly to take a dip in the lake, Lake Minocqua still offers plenty of ways to enjoy yourself. Bring up your boat and take a ride through the chain of lakes to see the rainbow of colors against the crystal clear water. Or, grab a warm sweater and take a seat on one of our half-log benches and watch as the sun sets over the water seemingly glistening over the reflection of all those incredibly colorful trees. I can't even describe the magnificence of it. You simply have to see for yourself!
