Fall Color Changes - mid September thru end of October
Fall is the most beautiful time to visit Minocqua. Because of the vast array of tree species in the Northwoods, the variety of color during autumn is phenomenal. From crimson red to golden yellow to lime green, you are sure to be blown away by the beauty of nature this time of year.
Guests who visit Minocqua for the "changing of the colors" as we like to call it, enjoy bike rides down the Bear Skin Trail, forest-lined car rides and relaxing boat rides on the Minocqua chain-of-lakes.
It has been said, because of the vast diversity of trees, that Northern Wisconsin is the most beautiful place to view leaves changing. It's also a great time to take family portraits!
